Play Groups
Group Activities
Enjoy our play groups and extra-curricular activities
Marlin Coast Family Day Care regularly host play groups at our office, community halls, aged care facilities and community parks. We invite any children involved in our service to join us.
Social events such as play groups and community events are a great way to enhance a child’s social, emotional and behavioural development, encourage a feeling of belonging through engaging in activities with small and large group settings in readiness for school.
Enhance Social Skills
Play groups help children positively approach other children, make friends, participate in play, share and take turns which gives them the skills to also develop resilience.
Develop Cognitive Skills
Play groups help children learn to be inquisitive and be interested in solving problems together and alone.
Promote Respect for Diversity
Play groups provide opportunities for children to listen to people from a range of backgrounds and their perspectives.
Get in touch to book your place at one of our play groups
